Steampunk traveller

Tridst is a traveller in the future, he set out to find new land for his tribe in a world in which everything is run on steam but where water is beginning to run out even though it is no longer needed to sustain humans as the human race had a steam powered implant inserted to stop the need for water. Tridst is an expert in engineering but set out on his adventure to find a land away from the built up cities as the home of his tribe is being threatened by rival gangs who need his knowledge on steam engineering.

Cthulhu

“It lumbered slobberingly into sight and gropingly squeezed Its gelatinous green immensity through the black doorway into the tainted outside air of that poison city of madness. … The Thing cannot be described—there is no language for such abysms of shrieking and immemorial lunacy, such eldritch contradictions of all matter, force, and cosmic order.” - H.P. Lovecraft

Calm Before The Storm

"a flash of lightning illuminated the object and discovered its shape plainly to me; its gigantic stature, and the deformity of its aspect, more hideous than belongs to humanity, instantly informed me that it was the wretch, the filthy demon to whom he had given life." - Mary Shelley's Frankenstein
